Turning to business:

1. Viewing party!  Next Tuesday, the 24th, the Sox are going to defang the Diamondbacks, and a select group of BLOHARDs is going to watch the whole thing from comfort of the BLOHARD skybox at Professor Thom's.  Afterwards, said BLOHARDS are going to simply demolish all comers in the Professor's Tuesday night trivia contest.  Any members of "Thurman Munson's Flying Circus" happening to read this are hereby triple-dog-dared to show their craven faces that night. 

As if.

Anyhoo, everybody's invited.  If you’re planning to come, will you send Joe Cosgriff, BLOHARD VP for Customer Relations, an email letting him know?  We just hate it when the bouncers won’t let us into the skybox on account of the fire code.

2. Vote for Pizz! ESPN is having a contest to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”.  Nine singers and groups have each recorded their take on this classic, and fan voting will determine the best.  Our old buddy John Pizzarelli is one of the contestants and, unless this thing is fixed worse than Wrestlemania, is also the assured winner. REO Speedwagon?  I think not.

3. Ties anyone?  Overstocked as we are with jerseys, hats and t-shirts, you’d think the last thing on our minds would be another item of BLOHARD brand clothing.  Evidently you’d be giving us too much credit, because we’re mulling over the idea of the BLOHARD tie.  It’d be a nice silk tie with multiple renditions of a diminutive BLOHARD logo, and it would probably run about $70.
