Come On Out And SWEEP The Mets!

BOSTON (June 29) - Coco Crisp sprinted into the gap, soared through the air and slammed to the ground - the ball and Boston 's winning streak safely in his grasp. The Red Sox beat the New York Mets  4-2 Thursday night and stretched their winning streak to 12 games.

Appropriate Attitude Towards Papi

So, I'm driving up to the Cape in the car yesterday (Saturday) listening to the game on the radio and Ortiz hits the game winner in the 10th.  Literally, within a single sentence, Jerry and Joe's tone swung from a sort of blasé "what do you expect? He always does this", to a breathless "this is the most amazing player we've ever seen in our lives; he always does this" and back to the initial sanguinity. 

If somebody is extraordinary all the time, is it still extraordinary?
